About The Position

This role involves performing shock and vibration qualification testing on system hardware. The engineer will maintain detailed logs of test events and write formal technical reports to verify requirements, demonstrating compliance with test objectives. The position requires the candidate to be a US Citizen with an active Secret Clearance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Technical Writing experience.
• At least 3 years of Mechanical Testing (such as shock and vibration) experience.
• At least 3 years of Electrical Testing (primarily troubleshooting) experience.
• Disciplined ability to follow test procedures and attention to detail are critical for this role.
• Must be US Citizen.
• Active Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding how to utilize and prepare general test equipment including but not limited to digital multimeters, multi-channel scopes, power supplies, Data Acquisition Units (DAQ) etc.
• Familiarity with environmental qualification testing at component level.
• Ability to understand analog signals, review real time measurement data and make real time decisions.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and perform electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to collect and catalog detailed test data and concisely present data to internal stake holders along with recommendations.
• Ability to communicate effectively and concisely with Sr. Management and Leadership.
• Ability to adequately prepare and present data reviews to a mixed audience and field questions with support.
• Experience communicating and working with interdisciplinary teams.
