Systems Integration & Operations Specialist, Business Services
About The Position
The Systems Integration & Operations Specialist is responsible for identifying, implementing, and supporting tools, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and other district applications, to improve and enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and communication, and to support data-driven decision-making within the organization. This role combines business operations knowledge with emerging technologies to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, improve reporting capabilities, and support staff training on district business, human resources, and technology systems and applications. The position works collaboratively across departments to modernize business practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Public Administration, or related field required; equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum five years of accounting and/or business management experience required.
- Experience with business operations, process improvement, AI/automation tools, financial systems, SchoolsOPEN, Munetrix, and public-sector or educational environments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and improve business office workflows using automation, AI, and other technology solutions.
- Support financial and administrative systems, data accuracy, reporting, and system integrations.
- Develop processes, procedures, training materials, and staff training for business systems and technology tools.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and technology skills.
- Maintain professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, sound judgment, and a commitment to secure and responsible use of technology.
