We are seeking a highly motivated System Integration Engineer with proven experience in installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation. The engineer will be supporting a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or master’s degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an associate’s degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered.
Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering.
Must have experience in network or system administration.
Strong Linux experience
Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.
Must possess an IAT-I certification, such as Network + CE, A+ CE or Security + CE.
Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph to be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

Experience deploying and maintaining nginx
Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite
Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana
Experience with SELinux and FIPS

Responsibilities

Installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation.
Supporting a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments.
Implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
Supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
Setting up storage such as network-attached storage.
