About The Position

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an early career Systems Integration Engineer to support hardware and software integration for the PAC-3 Missile. The candidate will be involved in the verification and validation for new test sets and actively participate in missile testing throughout the product lifecycle. This role requires knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including digital, analog, and radio frequency circuit designs, or electronic components. The position necessitates travel to test sites within the Continental United States (CONUS), including locations like White Sands Missile Range, NM for flight tests, and production sites in Lufkin, TX, and Camden, AR for hardware troubleshooting. Travel is expected to be up to 10% per year, with potential for increase or decrease based on job needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ years of related experience in integration test or a related engineering field.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering or Physics field.
  • Familiar with Data analysis and engineering methodology.
  • Familiarity with common lab equipment: DMM, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to attain a SECRET level security clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer engineering.
  • Able to read wiring schematics and hardware drawings.
  • Familiar with uncommon lab equipment: milliohm meter, igniter tester, spectrum analyzers.
  • Foundational knowledge of troubleshooting analog and digital electronics.
  • Willingness to Travel to CONUS and OCONUS.
  • For OCONUS activities, the candidate must be willing to travel to locations around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Support PAC-3 Missile Production and Sustainment activities relative to the processing, testing and troubleshooting of the PAC-3 systems.
  • Writing and executing test plans and test reports.
  • Support failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software and test equipment anomalies that have occurred during system and subsystem testing.
  • Provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing missile.
  • Travel to and support flight test events.
