About The Position

The Transportation Solution Division within the Leidos Civil group is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer. This role is part of dynamic teams working on Air Traffic Management programs like En-Route Automation Modernization (ERAM), which is central to the Next Generation Air Transportation System, and Time-Based Flow Management (TBFM), a system used in air traffic control to manage aircraft flow into congested airspace by assigning specific arrival times. This system optimizes traffic flow, reduces delays, and decreases fuel consumption by focusing on arrival times rather than just separation distances. The position involves regression testing of key components of the air traffic control system, developing Red Hat scripts for automation, and potentially assisting with system architecture, concept development, requirements engineering, operational analysis, systems definition, risk management, and requirements baseline management. Other tasks include developing test approaches and steps, executing tests in a lab environment, debugging interfaces, and developing test automation tools.
