About The Position

The Systems Installation SIG (Systems Integration Group) Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the installation, integration, and interface coordination of signaling and train control system across the project. The position plays a key role in ensuring timely and compliant installation of all signaling and train control systems components, advancing the project through commissioning and final handover.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 8–12 years of experience in rail/transit signaling installation, systems integration, or project delivery.
  • Strong technical knowledge of major transit systems including signal systems, communications networks, control centers, and station subsystems.
  • Experience working with multi-discipline Design-Build, P3, or EPC delivery models within major transportation or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of rail standards, codes, and typical commissioning processes (e.g., IEEE, AREMA, EN standards).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors, engineering teams, and cross-functional interface points.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, installation procedures, and document control platforms (e.g., Aconex, Procore).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the installation activities of singaling and train control, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, Safety and design standards, and integration requirements.
  • Oversee installation scheduling, logistics, and sequencing of signaling and train control system components
  • Coordinate site interfaces between civil, track, stations, and MEP works, ensuring seamless integration into the built environment of signaling and train control system
  • Manage subcontractors and installation crews, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and installation standards.
  • Support systems testing, commissioning, and validation efforts in close collaboration with Testing & Commissioning (T&C) teams.
  • Monitor material delivery and inventory, interfacing with procurement and logistics teams to resolve installation roadblocks.
  • Lead installation review meetings, interface workshops, and technical coordination sessions with design consultants, OEM vendors, and other project partners.
  • Supervise field engineering support for RFI resolution, redline markups, nonconformity tracking, and system closeout documentation.
  • Ensure strong adherence to Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Environmental standards across all installation activities.
  • Support project systems integration strategy and contribute to overall systems readiness plans leading to revenue service.
