Systems Infrastructure Lead
About The Position
Mayvin is seeking an experienced Systems Infrastructure Lead to oversee enterprise systems supporting the U.S. Army Transportation Command’s global IT environment. This position will lead the administration, maintenance, security, and modernization of physical and virtual servers, operating systems, storage, backup, and recovery capabilities. The Systems Infrastructure Lead will coordinate with Government stakeholders and technical teams to maintain secure, reliable, and mission-ready infrastructure services. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have an active Secret clearance. This position is pending contract award.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in systems administration, enterprise infrastructure support, server management, or related IT operations, preferably in a DoD environment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have an active Secret clearance
Nice To Haves
- Certifications in Security+, GSEC, GFACT, or CND
- Experience administering Windows and Linux servers, virtual environments, Active Directory, patching, backups, storage, system monitoring, and configuration management
Responsibilities
- Leading daily enterprise systems and infrastructure operations
- Managing physical and virtual servers, operating systems, storage, and related infrastructure
- Installing, configuring, patching, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows and Linux systems
- Managing VMware vSphere, vCenter, and other virtualization technologies
- Administering storage area networks and network-attached storage systems
- Overseeing data backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and continuity-of-operations capabilities
- Maintaining system availability, performance, capacity, and security
- Managing user accounts, permissions, privileged access, and system configurations
- Implementing DoD security controls, STIGs, patches, and vulnerability remediation
- Coordinating infrastructure incidents, outages, maintenance, upgrades, and technology refreshes
- Maintaining system documentation, inventories, configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
- Reporting infrastructure status, risks, outages, performance trends, and corrective actions to Government stakeholders
