About The Position
This position will design and support the company servers. They will administer Microsoft 365 / Azure software and oversee backup and disaster recovery. This position handles network support and performs device inventory management and deployment of new hardware/laptops etc. The role also involves partnering with the Safety Department and Operations Leadership to promote and ensure a safe work environment and ensure all safety precautions are met. Travel to all locations is required to support company-wide IT health and integrity. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- 2-4 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows server environments.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365.
- Experience supporting Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows operating systems.
- Experience deploying and supporting desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Basic experience supporting wired and wireless networks.
- Exposure to virtualization technologies (Hyper-V or VMware).
- Experience with backup software and disaster recovery procedures preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and support requests.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of: Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365 Administration, Microsoft Azure (Entra ID, Azure AD, Intune experience preferred), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams administration, PowerShell scripting (basic), Windows 10/11 administration, Server hardware, Storage systems, Backup solutions, Endpoint deployment tools, Network switches and firewalls (basic administration), Remote support software.
- Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable by the company.
