About The Position

The SETA Analyst supports national security objectives through technical and analytical assessment of foreign Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). The role assesses analytical outputs, provides recommendations to U.S. Government stakeholders, and advances understanding of foreign UAS capabilities, limitations, and vulnerabilities. As a technical advisor, the analyst supports engineering analysis, technical assessments, quality assurance, and strategic decision-making. The position includes characterizing foreign fixed-wing UAS design, technologies, aerodynamic properties, flight performance, and tactical effectiveness. It also involves evaluating foreign equipment and development capabilities, assessing intelligence information for technical reliability, identifying vulnerabilities, and producing technical intelligence products in coordination with program leadership. The work supports mission areas including Detect & Identify, Track, and Defeat.
