About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Systems Engineering Senior Specialist to join our Greenville, TX team. This position is responsible for Requirements, Development Support, and Integration of Aircraft Capability Extension System (ACES) capabilities in support of multiple platforms and programs. Responsible for issue investigation and resolution. Responsible for submitting bid and proposals. Responsible for documenting status and issues in Jira/Confluence.

Requirements

• Considerable Systems or Software Engineering experience as a Subject Matter Expert working with Remote Operations.
• Demonstrated understanding systems engineering life cycle.
• DoD clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance is a must.
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant engineering experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum 4 years of prior related engineering experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum 10 years of prior related engineering experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux.
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence and the Agile process.
• Hands-on experience with RC-135 Operator Interfaces.
• Security+ Certification.

Responsibilities

• Requirements, Development Support, and Integration of Aircraft Capability Extension System (ACES) capabilities in support of multiple platforms and programs.
• Issue investigation and resolution.
• Submitting bid and proposals.
• Documenting status and issues in Jira/Confluence.
• Write capability/product requirement specifications.
• Work with customers, system engineers and system architects to develop requirements.
• Test and troubleshoot Remote Operator Interfaces in support of various platforms and programs.
• Communicate effectively with software developers to explain requirements and use cases when needed.
• Communicate within and outside the organization which includes customers or vendors.
• Works with minimal supervision/oversight.
• Experience working successfully independently and in a team environment through an entire build cycle.
