The selected candidate will work in an intern role supporting the Experiments Team, performing engineering and analysis activities for a large missile defense lab within the C2BMC (Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications) program.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
- Experience with troubleshooting Windows and Linux platforms through college coursework or previous internships.
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- DoD Clearance: Secret
- Active and existing security clearance required on day 1
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Agile development cycle.
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST or MITRE is desired.
Responsibilities
- Partnering with experienced engineers to design, implement, integrate, and test prototypes aimed at advancing C2BMC capabilities.
- Contributing to the development of engineering solutions and performing testing to ensure system functionality.
- Developing knowledge and skillsets under the guidance of mentors to build technical proficiency and industry expertise.
