About The Position

As a System Engineer Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the design, analysis, integration, and validation of cutting-edge RF systems. You will collaborate with engineers and program leadership to ensure high-performance, scalable, and mission-tailored solutions. This internship is a multi-disciplinary experience ranging from system architectures, electrical design, hardware testing, mechanical concepts, and others.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Engineering student; some progress towards engineering degree
• Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network
• Must be diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn

Responsibilities

• Work closely with and assist engineers in the conduct of various engineering assignments
• Carry out basic work instructions that will help in understanding the fundamentals of the Company and also learn new things
• Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers
• Complete assigned tasks on time
• Gather and assemble data for engineers
• May be required to help in research in a particular field
• Conduct design analysis and/and or calculations under the supervision of engineers
• Assist engineers with appropriate design details
• Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network
• Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices
• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
• Other duties as assigned
• Support engineers with the analysis, design, development, and implementation of new and/or existing systems/sub-systems.
• Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of RF circuitry and systems.
• Conduct hands-on testing efforts in a laboratory setting using various equipment including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers under the supervision of engineers.
• Perform computer-aided simulations and analysis to verify feasibility of designs and predict RF performance.
• Provide cost, power, and performance summaries to support creation of new RF products.
• Create technical documentation to present to senior engineers and management.
• Complete assigned task on time.
