About The Position

L3Harris Technologies is hiring a Systems Engineering Intern in West Palm Beach, Florida. The intern will perform operational analysis; develop concepts of operations, designs, and implementation plans; create and execute test plans, procedures, and cases; analyze system requirements; and support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures. The role also involves using software tools and scripting, troubleshooting software and hardware, documenting test results, and communicating design activity plans and status through presentations to internal and external customers.

The position follows a 9/80 schedule: employees work 80 hours over nine days in each 14-day period and have every other Friday off. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant field at an accredited university. L3Harris notes that many positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance; clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited university in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration, project management, and/or model-based systems engineering.
• Familiarity with Rhapsody.
