This position is classified as Onsite, meaning employees will work primarily onsite. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.
Requirements
- Currently working on a bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Active and existing security clearance required after day 1.
Nice To Haves
- Coursework or project experience related to systems engineering, embedded systems, software development, aerospace, or controls.
- Exposure to requirements development, verification, testing, or model-based engineering concepts.
- Experience working on team-based technical projects, including design reviews, troubleshooting, or test execution.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of systems, software, integration, and test engineers to develop and deliver avionics system solutions.
- Support development, analysis, and refinement of system requirements and interfaces.
- Participate in technical reviews of requirements, design artifacts, and test procedures, while incorporating feedback into your own work.
- Communicate technical status, issues, and proposed solutions clearly to team members and mentors.
