About The Position

The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions
that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets.
The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include
development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client
needs and implementing data standards and governance.

The Enterprise Scheduling family is responsible for the entire Batch Scheduling
environment. The primary focus is to provide flexible scheduling capabilities
using self-service and automation while enforcing our Best Practices in an
effort to reduce risk and the job failure rate. The System Engineer is
responsible for administering and supporting CA Scheduler on a mainframe
platform. This include creating Load Cards, creating reports and forecasting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Strong REXX Programing
• Identify issues with new code being deployed.
• Strong Scheduling background with Broadcom CA Scheduler and ESP
• Job manipulation using Broadcom’s CA 11
• Support day-to-day and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshooting issues found with batch jobs.
• Support new product releases, DR Exercises and On Call support.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to achieve goals and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Work with project managers for meeting all deadlines outlined within the project plan
• Collaborate with team members and clients to achieve goals and meet deadlines
• Support the management of risks, issues, and dependencies across scheduling environments
• Follow all change management procedures
• Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability
• Create and maintain published system documentation
• Conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing job schedules for anomalies.
• Partner with experienced team members to resolve complex scheduling requirements.
• Support outages in the scheduling space
