Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the bank’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of critical banking systems. Education/Experience: A minimum of the following education/experience is required: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ in IT infrastructure, systems engineering or banking technology. Job Specific Responsibilities: Designs, implements, and maintains core banking infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud solutions. Administers Windows and Linux server environments, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V). Ensures high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions for banking systems. Manges enterprise networking, firewalls, VPS, and security protocols to protect banking data. Optimizes system performance and scalability to support business growth. Implements and enforces security policies aligned with banking regulations (e.g., FFIEC, PCI-DSS, GLBA). Monitors and mitigates cybersecurity threats, ensuring compliance with industry best practices. Conducts vulnerability assessments, patch management, and system hardening. Collaborates with risk management teams to audit system security and ensure regulatory compliance. Support cloud-based infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud environments. Works with core banking and financial applications to ensure seamless integration and performance. Troubleshoots and resolves system outages, performance issues, and banking software problems. Leads infrastructure projects, system migration, and upgrades. Other duties as assigned.
