As a systems engineer for Strategic Weapons Control, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for design modernization and deployment of submarine-based weapon control systems. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards.
- Creative thinker with ability to multi-task.
- Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity.
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
Nice To Haves
- High degree of knowledge working with Linux and virtual machines
- Experience implementing systems engineering practices or knowledge and training with INCOSE
- Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) knowledge or experience, requirements management, and requirements validation
- Degrees pertaining to Computer Engineering disciplines: Software Development, Hardware and Software Integration
- Experience with testing documentation development, test execution, and test results reporting
