We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support the analysis, design, integration, and implementation of mission-critical systems. This position will work closely with users, engineering teams, and Government stakeholders to translate operational needs into system requirements and ensure solutions align with established architectures and technical standards.

Requirements

  • Must be fully cleared with a recent MD polygraph
  • Must be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years of Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
  • No demonstrated professional experience is required with the qualifying Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles, requirements analysis, system architecture, integration, and testing
  • Ability to develop clear technical and systems engineering documentation
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user requirements, CONOPS, and high-level architectures to develop system requirements and specifications
  • Develop and manage system and derived requirements across hardware, software, facilities, and personnel components
  • Support system design, development, integration, and implementation activities
  • Develop systems engineering documentation, including Systems Engineering Plans, requirements specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and capability documents
  • Support system architecture efforts utilizing frameworks such as DoDAF and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Develop and support system integration and test plans
  • Guide stakeholders in requirements development, evaluate alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility assessments
  • Coordinate technical action items resulting from Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders, engineers, program personnel, and leadership to resolve technical issues
  • Maintain the technical integrity of systems engineering deliverables throughout the development lifecycle
