About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking a Systems Engineer for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company in Weston, FL. This is an individual contributor role focused on providing leadership for products and projects involving multi-disciplinary engineering teams. The Systems Engineer will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from concept to market release and sustaining. This role involves translating stakeholder needs into concepts and ensuring designs meet user requirements through various system engineering techniques.
Requirements
- University degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Understanding and application of procedures and concepts of the discipline
- Ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience
- Excellent communication, creative problem-solving, and leadership skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with mechatronic systems
- Knowledge of motion control systems
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience in systems development and prototyping
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for products and projects involving multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Work to understand stakeholder needs and clinical use during the concept phase
- Translate needs to concepts and new inventions
- Ensure the design meets user needs through requirements identification and decomposition
- Utilize system engineering techniques such as traceability, architecture, modeling, trade studies, simulation, and budgeting
- Lead system integration and verification efforts
