Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Linux System Administration
  • General understanding of Linux internals (system calls, file systems and processes)
  • The ideal candidate will have experience or a sampling of the following topics: Linux Operating Systems to include, networking, desktops, firewalls, and servers
  • Building, deploying, and documenting complex networks and systems
  • Hypervisors, virtualization technology, and virtual desktop infrastructure
  • Build and maintain secure and hardened configuration standards
  • Experience with SaltStack automation framework
  • Experience and knowledge of network protocols, routing protocols, policy-based routing, security, and maintaining networking infrastructure
  • Applicants must hold and maintain an active security clearance; therefore, US Citizenship is required

Responsibilities

  • Stay current on technologies and trends and be capable of making informed suggestions and decisions for technology updates
  • Ensuring our networks meet or exceed standards
  • Experience mentoring junior team members
  • Working with customers to meet their technology needs of the future
