About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to engineer projects that will develop and implement next-generation IT tools, systems, and capabilities to help revolution the cyber battlefield and ensure the superiority of our cyber forces over our adversaries. You'll coordinate with external entities, work with our administrators and engineers to ensure ample support, work with developers to build and modify the required software, support testers to ensure the mission effect is achieved.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/Poly
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering or related discipline and 5 years of systems engineering experience. 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Active DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Certification or higher. Ex: CISSP, CASP+CE, CSSLP
  • An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

  • Master's degree and 3+ years of experience

  • A problem solver who can get in, be given a project, and use engineering skills to determine a solution
  • Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)
  • Able to build systems from the ground up – network architecture/systems engineering

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process
  • Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation
  • Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts
  • Oversee the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility
  • Communicate with other program personnel, Government overseers, and senior executives
  • Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
  • Analyze complex information and independently takes appropriate actions to resolve problems
  • Provide engineering guidance to technical staff and establishes effective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners
  • Deliver briefings on complex topics to groups, which may include high-level decision makers
  • Work complex research projects as senior contributors and as part of an integrated research team
  • Design and deliver solutions
