About The Position

LMI is seeking an MBSE expert to define the technical architecture of complex Army systems. You will lead the transition from document-based engineering to a model-based approach, ensuring that all technical requirements are traceable and architecturally sound. Active Secret clearance required. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Expert-level proficiency in Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML.
  • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering Technical Reviews and the DoD acquisition lifecycle.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
  • Only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • INCOSE Certification (ASEP/CSEP) or OCSMP SysML certification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain system-level models using Cameo Systems Modeler (NoMagic) and SysML.
  • Ensure that descriptive models in Cameo align with the physical data and technical architectures used across the program.
  • Map mission-level requirements down to technical specifications, ensuring zero gaps in the system's design.
  • Coordinate with Data Engineers to ensure the "as-designed" model matches the "as-built" data.
  • Utilize DoDAF or UAF frameworks to organize complex architectural views for government stakeholders.
