About The Position

Arcfield is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead and support the system-level design, development, integration, and testing of Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities for submarine platforms. This role requires a strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on electromagnetic, RF, and antenna theory, along with test experience and a basic understanding of submarine EW. The engineer will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies using Cameo to manage system models and requirements, ensuring bidirectional traceability. Responsibilities include performing RF system analysis, supporting verification and validation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing multiple projects. The role also involves validating engineering models against historical data and engaging technically with various engineering leads. Assistance with developing test documentation on classified networks is also part of the role, requiring SIPR access.

  • BS 0-2 years, HS 4-6 years
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
  • Basic experience and knowledge associated with electrical engineering functions related to design, troubleshooting, analysis, reporting, and/or testing of complex systems.
  • Experience with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, or similar
  • Experience developing various model-based system engineering artifacts - operational viewpoints, system viewpoints, activity diagrams, use case diagrams, block definition diagrams, internal block diagrams, and simulation models.
  • Technical writing and presentation skills required along with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Possess and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong documentation and communication skills

Nice To Haves
