About The Position

The Systems Engineer – Level IV will be responsible for supervising server management, network management, user account management, security management, and backup and recovery operations. This role ensures the operation and upkeep of computer systems, servers, and networks to maintain secure and reliable access to resources. The position involves performing and overseeing automation activities, including scripting using common scripting languages, and applying advanced knowledge of operating systems, networking, security, and cloud computing to support enterprise infrastructure. The Systems Engineer will provide strategic direction for system administration activities, guide infrastructure operations, and lead infrastructure upgrade, optimization, and modernization projects. Additionally, the role serves in a site lead capacity, coordinating system administration functions across the environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in systems engineering or related engineering disciplines
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain
• Advanced certification such as CompTIA CASP+, CISSP, or equivalent aligned to DoD requirements
