About The Position
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to develop laser, electro-optic, and infrared systems for our defense aerospace customers with the Integrated Survivability Systems business line. The successful candidate will work as part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team contributing to the design, modeling, simulation, and testing efforts that will evolve the next-generation of autonomous systems supporting the digital/electronic warfare battle environment. This role is full-time and performed entirely on-site in Merrimack, NH, due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the nature of the work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related STEM field with 4+ years of related experience; or Master's degree with 2+ years.
- Must possess an Active Secret Clearance and be eligible for a SAP/SAR Clearance.
- Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers in other disciplines.
- Experience with the full Systems Engineering lifecycle.
- Specific skills within the domains of active EO/IR, passive EO/IR or Electronic Warfare (EW).
- Experience with MBSE Digital Engineering and SysML applications/tools like MagicDraw.
