Program Summary Leidos supports critical missions within the Directorate of Operations and Directorate of Cybersecurity, delivering systems engineering solutions that enable cryptanalysis, foreign intelligence operations, and protection of National Security Systems. Our team explores, designs, and integrates emerging technologies to provide the nation with a decisive advantage over adversaries. Job Summary We're seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, and testing of mission-critical systems in a SCIF environment. You'll contribute to requirements analysis, develop technical documentation, and support prototype development while working directly with Government stakeholders on high-priority national security missions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET accredited) with no experience, OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics plus 1 year of relevant systems engineering experience
  • For non-ABET programs: degree must include differential and integral calculus plus 5 of 18 specified technical areas
  • Active TS/SCI/polygraph clearance required
  • Ability to work in a SCIF environment
  • Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS as mission requires

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing system requirements, specifications, and Concept of Operations (CONOPs) based on stakeholder engagement
  • Support functional analysis, interface definition, and development of data-flow diagrams and system design artifacts
  • Contribute to integration and testing efforts following NSA Test and Evaluation policies; develop test plans and analyze results
  • Assist with configuration management, troubleshooting, and implementation of system changes
  • Support development of Interface Control Documents (ICDs), XML schemas, and metadata models
