Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).
  • 2+ years of experience in system engineering, testing, or DevOps roles.
  • Proven experience configuring CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of Jenkins, Linux/Unix, version control (Git), and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices.
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with test frameworks.
  • Experience with Jenkins.
  • Experience with Git.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • A passion for IT and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Design, install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Develop custom scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network components.
  • Work closely with developers, management, and other departments to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, procedures, and support.
  • Research and assess emerging technologies for potential upgrades or new implementations.
