Requirements

20 years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Network Security (within the past 2 years)
Experience with several of the below technologies:
Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) applications and tools.
Experience with Linux
Experience with AWS Cloud
Scripting development experience
A CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Experience with Forward Networks platform
Experience with Splunk/Elasticsearch
Scripting development experience
Experience with Confluence

Responsibilities

Become familiar with the Forward Networks commercial tool, and quickly become proficient in it.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Forward Networks tool to include set up and maintenance of data collection tasks.
Utilizing the Forward Networks tool, model and visualize the network infrastructure in order to verify network behavior and ensure network compliance.
Provide technical support, user training, reports, and documentation for the Forward Networks platform.
Collaborate with external teams to resolve technical challenges.
Serve as a technical expert and mentor to junior engineers.
