About The Position

SOSi is seeking a Systems Engineer with C4I and/or C5ISRT experience to support a government program in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This position will support a multi-functional team and requires both strong technical and collaborative skills. Extensive on the job training will be required and the ideal candidate will embrace the knowledge transfer process.

Requirements

• Active in-scope TS/SCI with Cl Polygraph.
• 5 years of experience in systems engineering.
• 5 years of experience supporting software development.
• 5 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with Labview.
• Technical writing experience.
• Strong oral communication skills, including conducting formal presentations.
• Experience with UHF, HF, and ELF frequency spectrums and encrypted communications systems/equipment.
• Service in US military or as a contractor/government employee supporting C4I/C5ISRT missions.
• Experience writing code in Python and C++.

Nice To Haves

• Degree in systems or electrical engineering.
• 10 years of experience in system engineering.
• 8 years of experience supporting software development.
• 8 years of electrical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Leverage technical expertise to develop creative solutions to technical problems related to communications equipment.
• Write and review reports related to hardware and software capabilities.
• Develop hardware and software prototypes and emulators.
• Conduct testing to validate solutions.
• Create schematics for existing equipment and prototypes.
• Develop custom data processing tools in Python, C++.
• Provide detailed written test reports.
• Conduct demonstrations of tests for line and supervisory personnel.
