About The Position
Dezign Concepts is seeking a hands-on Systems Engineer (SME) with deep expertise across infrastructure, platforms and application ecosystems spanning cloud and customer environments, and to serve as a technical authority for complex system issues. This role involves making an impact by delivering versatile engineering solutions that power the Intelligence Community.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience performing hands-on systems engineering across network, compute, storage, operating systems, middleware, databases, and applications.
- Experience analyzing and documenting as-is infrastructure, platform, and application architecture.
- Experience creating detail engineering design form modernization, optimization and transformation initiatives working with System and Cloud Architect.
- Experience leading and executing cloud and system implementations, migrations and upgrades.
- Experience integrating infrastructure and platforms with DevOps and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Experience troubleshooting complex, cross-stack issues within the infrastructure, platforms and applications.
- Experience collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders to address and escalate complete system issues.
- Experience developing technical documentation, diagrams, standards and associated documents.
- Ability to brief leadership, translate technical issues into business impact.
- Strong understanding of IT operations, including experience with Splunk and SCCM environments.
- Active Top Secret with Polygraph clearance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for complex systems spanning cloud and customer environments.
- Perform hands-on systems engineering across network, compute, storage, operating systems, middleware, databases, and applications.
- Analyze and document as-is infrastructure, platform, and application architecture.
- Create detailed engineering designs for modernization, optimization, and transformation initiatives, working with System and Cloud Architects.
- Lead and execute cloud and system implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
- Ensure systems meet availability, scalability, performance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Integrate infrastructure and platforms with DevOps and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Troubleshoot complex, cross-stack issues within the infrastructure, platforms, and applications.
- Collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders to address and escalate complete system issues.
- Develop technical documentation, diagrams, standards, and associated documents.
