We are currently looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to work in a client environment in Herndon, VA, requiring a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Requirements

  • Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, designing, testing, and making suggestions for infrastructure and systems based on customer requirements.
  • Experience providing architectural guidance and recommendations.
  • Experience developing prototypes to demonstrate proposed products and services, as well as offering analysis on if they will meet the customer's requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience providing business and technical consultation and defining methods to meet strategic objectives and roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated experience providing complete assessments of the technical characteristics of proposals and alternatives considered in applications design.
  • Demonstrated experience creating a process for evaluating new technologies and providing cost-benefit analysis and recommendations for new technology insertion and integration.
  • Experience identifying and assessing integration and interoperability (I&I) challenges in system and service development plans, considering technical, programmatic, and mission dimensions.
  • Active required security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Work in conjunction with the Technical Director to develop design guidance for applications developers.
  • Define target platforms, interface designs, research, and test designed systems.
  • Perform mission-critical work across 8 separate newly developing systems.
  • Be part of a larger program that maintains and performs O&M on 28 current systems.
  • Assist the team in providing full software buildouts, including front and back-end systems, as well as sub-system components.
