5226 - Systems Engineer
About The Position
This is a hands-on Infrastructure/Platform Engineering role, not a software development position. The ideal candidate will enjoy building, maintaining, automating, and supporting enterprise development platforms and cloud infrastructure. The team consists of 4 Platform Engineers who manage the infrastructure that enables engineers across the company to build, test, and deploy software efficiently. The team owns and administers several internal development platforms, including: GitLab, JFrog Artifactory, Ansible Tower, SonarQube, Nexus Repository. Candidates do not need deep expertise in every platform. The team is seeking strong infrastructure engineers who can contribute across multiple tools and technologies based on business needs. This is a backfill opportunity supporting a growing CI/CD and Developer Enablement organization. While conversion may be possible in the future, it is not guaranteed. Additional details: Mandatory on-call rotation, Offshore support may be introduced in the future, Team recently transitioned under Joe's leadership, Strong opportunity to work with enterprise-scale cloud and DevOps platforms.
Requirements
- Strong AWS infrastructure experience
- Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
- CI/CD platform administration and support
- Infrastructure automation
- Linux systems troubleshooting
- Platform engineering and cloud operations
- Experience with one or more of the following: GitLab (preferred), GitHub Actions, Jenkins
- 3+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure and CI/CD experience
- Building and managing software artifacts, containers, and deployment pipelines
- Monitoring and observability using tools such as: Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack
- Disaster recovery and operational support
- Scripting or automation using Python or TypeScript
- Enterprise-scale environment experience

Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and support enterprise CI/CD platform services
- Manage cloud infrastructure and platform administration
- Develop infrastructure-as-code and automation solutions
- Monitor platform health, reliability, and performance
- Create dashboards, metrics, and observability solutions
- Support production incidents and participate in on-call rotations
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and platform issues
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical reviews
- Document solutions and help engineering teams leverage platform capabilities
- Promote security, compliance, reliability, and automation best practices
