  • Software Development Lifecycle: Understanding of Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD practices in DoD environments
  • 5+ years of experience in EW systems development, integration, or operations
  • Understanding of EW operational disciplines with working knowledge of how mission requirements translate to system capabilities
  • Knowledge of RF propagation, antenna systems, receiver/transmitter architectures, and signal processing
  • Understanding of test and evaluation methodologies applied to EW systems
  • 7+ years of systems engineering experience with at least 3 years in requirements development
  • Demonstrated ability to decompose system requirements to software, hardware, and firmware subsystems
  • Experience with verification and validation planning and execution
  • Experience documenting and maintaining system engineering artifacts including: System architecture descriptions and diagrams Interface control documents (ICDs) Requirements specifications and traceability matrices Data flow and sequence diagrams Trade study and technical analysis experience
  • BS in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of software testing frameworks and automated test development
  • Familiarity with formal requirements and design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.)
  • Hybrid/On-site position supporting Florham Park, NJ or Westminster, CO
  • Travel to other CACI locations and/or customer sites as necessary (travel requirement is typically 0 - 15%)
  • Fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain system baselines including functional, performance, and interface requirements
  • Lead requirements definition through evaluation of customer high-level system requirements and capability need statements with customer and engineering team technical interactions.
  • Manage requirements traceability from mission needs through verification and validation
  • Apply deep understanding of EW operational concepts, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to translate mission needs into technical requirements
  • Define system behavior for EW functions including threat detection, identification, geolocation, jamming, and countermeasures
  • Support development of Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) and mission thread analysis for EW systems
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to refine requirements
  • Develop and document system and software architectures that meet EW mission requirements and operational constraints
  • Decompose functional requirements to software, hardware, RF, signal processing, and other engineering disciplines
  • Define and document interfaces and data flows between subsystems
  • Lead Functional and Physical Architecture development and allocation
  • Serve as primary technical interface between system-level engineering and specialized engineering teams
