About The Position

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Mid-Level System Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role focuses on Data Modernization System Engineering with strong project management skills. The individual will provide engineering and project management to support the customer's Chief Data Architect's data modernization efforts to streamline data processing. This position will act as the contract's representative for a critical effort that will change the customer's data environment. The role involves direct interaction with the customer to identify, capture, and service new and sometimes ambiguous requirements, while also identifying new opportunities for the program in support of the customer. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret vague guidance, develop courses of action, interface effectively with customers and stakeholders, and identify areas for growth. Familiarity with the customer's data movement and architecture, or knowledge and experience with SIGINT operations (particularly data acquisition and movement) is highly desirable.

TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance
Agile Project Management expertise
Hands on SAFe/Scrum experience
Utilization of Jira & Confluence
Strong communication, facilitation, and impediment removal skills
Adept at leading meetings, documenting outcomes, and aligning teams with senior leadership
Deep understanding of the customer’s data flow architecture
Ability to translate vague requirements into prioritized, actionable development tasks
Proven track record in release planning, sprint reviews, Scrum of Scrums, and managing Git workflows (commits, merges, pushes)
Experience guiding enterprise scale software development teams
Experience providing technical feedback
Excellent time management and organization skills

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with the customer's data movement and architecture

Responsibilities
