Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile. Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for an ambitious Systems Engineer to become a member of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team. As a System Engineer for the Flight Test Planning branch of System Test you will:

Requirements

  • Understanding of test planning, test execution, and test analysis principles
  • Must have an Active Secret clearance; US Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field or related work experience
  • Systems Thinking - Ability to view the system holistically and understand interdependencies
  • Collaboration - Works effectively in multidisciplinary teams and fosters a culture of shared ownership
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MATLAB and/or Python
  • Requirements Engineering
  • FBM Experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop/analyze/verify system level requirements and document & manage accordingly.
  • Evaluate the missile trajectory to determine data collection support requirements for each FBM flight test.
  • Create technical documents, providing feedback to data packages to support peer and customer reviews.
  • Present analysis results and Flight Test Planning material to internal engineering teams, customer technical representatives, and Program Office personnel during technical exchange meetings.
