Systems Engineer
About The Position
We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time on-site role for a client located in Grand Haven, MI. The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for technical support and general system engineering for their clients. This role is for the Champion, which is the more Senior level person that is onsite at customers a majority of the time. Requirements
- Strong System Engineering skills with experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Experience in Network Administration including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and firewalls.
- Technical Support experience in hardware, software, and remote support.
- Effective Troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identify and prevent technical issues.
- In-depth knowledge of Information Technology concepts and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 5-10+ years of experience.
- Great interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Scripting/Automation
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or CompTIA A+.
- MSP experience.
- Prior manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Technical support and general system engineering for clients.
- Travel to client sites approximately 3 days per week.
- Be on-site at Motio 2 days per week.
- Act as the face of the client at their client sites.
- On call one weekend every other month.
