About The Position

As a systems engineer for NorthStar, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and testing assured PNT solutions for warfighters operating in GPS-denied environments. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months of relevant experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
  • Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation including design plans, installation plans, test procedures, and engineering drawings in accordance with program standards
  • Coordinate with government customers, subcontractors, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure project milestones and technical objectives are met
  • Conduct engineering analysis of system designs and provide recommendations to resolve technical issues and mitigate risks
  • Support engineering review boards, design reviews (PDR, CDR, ERB, MCB), and technical briefings
