About The Position

TSC is seeking a Systems Engineer in King George, VA. This position supports the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, computer or electronics engineering. Other acceptable majors include mathematics, computer science or physics.
RADAR systems integration and Test position in the SPY 6 program.
Established testing experience both pre and post production and understands the connected working of a shipboard RADAR system.
Specifically the operations of phased array RADARs in a shipboard environment as well as the interfaces and inner working of RADAR systems and how the RADAR interfaces with the AEGIS weapons system.
A minimum of 8 years industry and/or DoD experience
Familiarization with the Dual Band Radar (DBR) systems
Ability to read and understand or modify master and inch stone schedules as they apply to testing, development and into production.
A minimum of active secret clearance and US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

Leading current and future radar system design and production.
Supporting technology developments, technology insertions, prototyping and technology demonstrations in support of a mission critical and highly visible new program.
Performing complex radar system engineering, design, analysis, or sensor software development.
Formulating opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the engineering tasks associated with the radar/sensor program/project.
Performing detailed and complex calculations and knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.
