About The Position

Acture Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and client facing Systems Engineer to join our Corporate Innovations Technology team. This role supports multiple clients in the financial services sector, delivering white glove project-based support in a fast-paced MSP environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years in systems engineering or enterprise IT environments, with demonstrated responsibility in server administration, system design, and project implementation.
  • Proven experience designing and managing complex server environments.
  • Expertise in Windows systems and Azure infrastructure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative work ethic.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Hyper-V experience.
  • Experience working in an MSP environment supporting multiple clients required, preferably within financial services.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server) preferred.
  • Customer-first mindset with a knack for solving problems.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple issues effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Windows server environments.
  • Administer and support enterprise software applications, including installations, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage user accounts and access controls across Active Directory and Azure (Entra ID).
  • Implement and enforce IT security policies to protect system integrity.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance proactively.
  • Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
  • Manage OS/application patching and system updates.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge sharing.
  • Lead and participate in IT infrastructure projects.
