About The Position

GDIT is seeking a Systems Engineer (SE) to support the U.S. Army Europe and Africa in West Fort Hood, TX. The SE will serve as the Chief Architect and Technical Lead for the III Armored Corps Sensor Integration & Data Fusion Lab (SID-FL). The SID-FL Manager is the technical and operational authority responsible for building and running a state-of-the-art innovation hub designed to solve the Army's most pressing intelligence data challenges. The successful candidate will be a "player-coach"—a hands-on technical expert who also possesses the project management acumen to guide a complex, multi-stakeholder initiative. This individual will work directly with Soldiers, government civilians, and industry partners to rapidly integrate emerging sensors, validate data-centric architectures, and test next-generation AI/ML algorithms. The ultimate purpose of this role is to accelerate the delivery of combat-ready, data-dominant capabilities to the warfighter, with a specific focus on supporting the U.S. Army Europe-Africa (USAREUR-AF) Eastern Front Deterrence Initiative (EFDI). The work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of U.S. Army Europe and Africa. You will play a crucial role in delivering new intel capabilities to the warfighter.
