About The Position

As a Systems Engineer, working with custom software built in-house, for our Cyber group, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing mission critical NSA-certified Cybersecurity devices in a rapidly growing product line. You’ll be working at the cutting edge of Cybersecurity and high-speed data. This position is fully on-site and you will be a part of the Dedham Cyber Engineering team.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Passion for designing complicated systems and working on problems of diverse scope.
• Ability to define the scope, schedule, and expectations for the work you execute.
• Shows initiative on assignments and executes projects with little guidance and can provide technical direction and leadership.

Nice To Haves

• Agile experience preferred.
• Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Full Stack experience
• Extensive experience with DOORs
• Long development lifecycle and product lifespans, requiring maintenance and regular technology refresh
• Linux
• Networking experience including Layer 2 and Layer 3
• Experience working in a fast-paced product development environment

Responsibilities

• Requirements Analysis and Management
• Functional Analysis, performance analysis, and Systems design
• Trade Studies
• System integration and testing
• Ability to write CONOPS, Specifications or Requirements and derive into software design, code, test plans, and then execute Systems level testing/debugging.
• Proficiency with Systems and Test tools supporting testing in a lab environment.
• Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
