About The Position

Join Esri’s Professional Services organization to deploy, integrate, migrate, and optimize ArcGIS Enterprise environments for mission-driven customers. The role supports critical national security missions and involves solving complex technical problems across enterprise infrastructure, operating systems, cloud, networking, security, databases, and ArcGIS. You will work directly with customers to deliver reliable enterprise solutions. Esri’s Relocation Assistance Program can provide support with relocating to the Redlands, California area for this position.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience in a similar position supporting similar responsibilities.
• Experience designing, implementing, and/or administering enterprise ArcGIS or comparable IT systems, including desktop, server, and online systems.
• Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linux.
• Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or C#.
• Familiarity with network concepts and topics such as domains, directories, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, and load balancing.
• Experience with at least one RDBMS and SQL query writing, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility, or a clearance that was active within the past two years.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a STEM-related field.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a STEM-related field.
• One or more industry-standard IT certifications, such as Esri, Microsoft, or Amazon certifications.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience with Esri software, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Runtime, and their associated APIs or interfaces.
• Experience with cloud-based system operations (SysOps).
