About The Position

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading estimating and bid development efforts for F-35 Systems Engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM) team, ensuring robust basis of estimate documentation and alignment with proposal strategy. Duties include oversee preparation of BOEs and bid submissions while ensuring estimating accuracy, compliance, and risk evaluation. Candidate will coordinate with the various team leads to produce defensible and accurate cost estimates and bid packages, including assumptions, methodologies, and pricing rationale. The position also includes being a control account manager (CAM) in support of labor and material control accounts under the F-35 Systems Engineering Life Cycle Management (LCM) Team. This CAM will support the lead CAM and will have control of a subset of control accounts for the team, and will be responsible for executing status and maintaining those accounts (EV TAR, EAC, variances, baselining activities, work package and I/O generation). The CAM will need to coordinate with the engineering leads and program management to understand what account changes are needed, provide feedback to various teams on execution against their accounts, maintain the EV schedule and ensure task completion. Ensure positive Earned Value Management System (EVMS) measures are maintained with appropriate info provided to technical SMEs, Risks and Opportunity (R/O) Boards, OBS managers, and project management. Responsible for Comprehensive Estimate at Complete (CEAC) preparation, variance analyses, and presentation to F-35 leadership on a recurring basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or above Degree in a Technical Discipline, or related technical experience
  • Proposal or BOE development experience
  • Must be a US Citizen
