About The Position

Fusion Technology is seeking a Security-cleared Professional with a Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility (TS/SCI) to join their team as a Systems Engineer SME. The role involves planning, designing, and implementing additions and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems. The successful candidate will provide direct support in the day-to-day operations of network hardware and operating systems while maintaining the reliability and robustness of the underlying infrastructure that supports the forensic and investigative ecosystem across multi-enclave environments. This position is located in Chantilly, VA.

Requirements

Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility (TS/SCI)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
10+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field
Virtualization technologies (VSphere, VXRail, Proxmox, Nutanix)
Network administration and security
Cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S)
Linux and Windows operating systems
Windows Active Directory
Network hardware (Cisco, Arista, SonicWall)
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Security accreditation processes
Hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure
DevSecOps practices and tools
Elasticsearch, Splunk, and other data platforms
Python and C# for automation and scripting
Database technologies (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
LDAP/OpenLDAP, ADFS, Keycloak
Tunneling protocols (GRE, IPSec, SSH, SSL)
SAFe Agile methodologies
Understanding of forensic and investigative system requirements
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing secure systems in government environments

Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate, design, develop and implement additions and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems.
Provide direct support in day-to-day operations of network hardware and operating systems.
Troubleshoot at both physical and logical network levels.
Participate in planning, design, technical review and implementation for new network infrastructure.
Perform systems management and integration functions across multi-enclave environments.
Maintain network infrastructure standards including communication protocols such as TCP/IP.
Diagnose and resolve complex communication problems.
Ensure systems are current with approved patches and assist with certification and accreditation tasks.
Develop strategy for client/server systems and design infrastructure to support that strategy.
Advise on selection of technological purchases for processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.
Support DevSecOps practices and tools implementation.
