As a SME Systems Engineer, a typical day will include the following duties/skills:

Requirements

  • US Citizen
  • Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Experience and knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience and familiarity with customer networks and devices, including both new and legacy systems, to ensure seamless integration and support.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to customer crypto devices and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex technical information to various stakeholders, including technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Experience and ability to work in a matrix environment. This includes being able to navigate multiple stakeholders, priorities, and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • In-depth knowledge of customer crypto devices such as the E-100, FLEX, Micro, Nano, TL-10G, TL-1g, and next generation crypto devices, including their configuration, operation, and maintenance.
  • Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex cryptographic systems.
  • Technical knowledge of cryptographic principles, protocols, and technologies, including those related to customer crypto devices.
  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues related to customer crypto devices and developing effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of cryptographic protocols and standards, such as those related to encryption, decryption, and key management.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to stakeholders, including written training documentation.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders, to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Experience with GEM crypto manager(s) software.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to stakeholders, including actively training personnel.
