About The Position

The Systems Engineer I supports systems design, test, and analysis in support of product development and manufacturing. This role involves supporting systems design within a cross-functional engineering team to develop and launch new products. The engineer will contribute to system architectures, including interface definition and description, and conduct system tests using procedures and methods for system verification and validation. The position also involves learning analysis and simulation tools to aid in system design and test, participating in cross-functional design reviews, and following Gentex system engineering processes to ensure products meet quality standards. Staying current with technology, manufacturing, and industry trends is also a key aspect of this role to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Professional work experience in new product development.
