About The Position
Ford Motor Company is seeking a Systems Engineer specializing in Seat Structures to join their Advanced EV Team. This team is at the forefront of developing key technologies for breakthrough electric vehicles, including platforms, batteries, e-motors, inverters, charging, and recycling. The Seating Engineering Team, within the Advanced EV Team, focuses on current seating commodities such as structures, mechanisms, actuators, cushions, wire harnesses, controllers, sensors, software, and trims, with a focus on future seating solutions and progression. Team members are expected to be both experts and polymaths, using their unique skills to complement the team's efforts. A seat is defined as a product that provides comfortable support for vehicle occupants, and future seating solutions are not limited to current offerings.
