We put our customers first – exemplified by our mission: “We Protect Those Who Protect Us®.” Our ACES team is seeking a highly motivated systems engineer to support the development of new Electronic Attack (EA) capabilities designed to improve air vehicle survivability by detecting, denying, deceiving, degrading, and disrupting adversary Integrated Air Defenses. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a Lead Engineer to execute systems engineering tasks focused on RF performance modeling and RF system integration. Working within a collaborative team, you will apply digital engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) principles to develop and implement software for data analysis, post-processing, and visualization. Beyond the lab, you will play a key role in external test events (up to 25% travel), where you will assist in planning, attending, and executing tests, interfacing directly with customers, and briefing analysis results to stakeholders. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in Electrical Engineering and a functional interest in using software engineering skills (Python/MATLAB) to solve complex RF and radar challenges. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with Systems engineering development of DoD systems
