About The Position

The ideal Systems Engineer for this position will possess the knowledge and technical expertise to support the team during the entire Systems Engineering life cycle. We are seeking a forward leaning self-starter capable of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast paced environment. They will be expected to support multiple efforts and will assist the customer in making informed decisions related to requirements and developments. Candidate will perform traditional Systems Engineering and Project Management activities to include the following tasks/duties: Collaborate with customer and stakeholders to understand mission needs then develop Concept of Operations documents. Capture and document User, Functional, and Technical requirements. Perform analysis and allocation of requirements to systems and segments. Provide project management support, development of project plans, integration and test support and initial solution definition. Drive projects to completion. Plan and participate in characterization testing of RF systems. Coordinate and participate in technical exchange meetings (TEMS). Identify technical, CI and operational risks and recommend mitigations. Creating briefings to support Control Gates.

Requirements

Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer providing the above services
Strong written, communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to prepare and brief complex technical and non-technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Have demonstrated experience with RF communication systems, technologies, and concepts
Be a self-starter who will take initiative for helping manage key parts of complex technical developments.
Possess a desire and ability to work on multiple fast-paced projects and be willing and able to aggressively learn the activities and focus of the organization.
Must be comfortable working in a dynamic team environment.
