About The Position

Join a high-performing team within a mission-focused organization that provides direct support to a national security-critical weapon system throughout its engineering development, deployment, and sustainment. This role acts as a trusted partner to a digital engineering-driven Air Force organization, performing a range of engineering duties. Key responsibilities include conducting technical nuclear surety analysis and risk assessment, performing safety/security evaluations of various subsystems, and providing direction on Nuclear Safety Design Certification compliance within an MBSE environment to produce artifacts for Nuclear Certification in accordance with AFI 63-125. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline
3+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
Experience with DoD/AF Nuclear Surety policy and processes
Understanding of the DoD Systems Engineering lifecycle
Working knowledge of AFI 63-125 and 91-series AFIs/AFMANs
Must be a US citizen
Active Secret clearance with willingness/ability to obtain a Top Secret

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree
2+ years of relevant experience with a Master’s Degree
Direct experience with the Sentinel or MMIII weapon systems
Experience with MBSE and Dassault’s Cameo or other MBSE tools (Rhapsody, etc.)
Experience with IBM Rational DOORS
Candidates with Top Secret clearance

Responsibilities
